Monongahela/New Eagle Joint Zoning Ordinance & Subdivision and Land Development Ordinances (SALDO)

The Monongahela/New Eagle Multi-Municipal Comprehensive Plan was adopted March 12, 2008. In September 2008, the joint planning committee began development of the Monongahela/New Eagle Joint Zoning Ordinance and Subdivision and Land Development Ordinances. The first public meeting was held June 10, 2009 at the New Eagle Volunteer Fire Department Social Hall. A second meeting was held at 7 p.m. on June 17, 2009 at Monongahela City Hall.

New Eagle Borough held the final public meeting for the Monongahela/New Eagle Joint Zoning Ordinance and Subdivision and Land Development Ordinances on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 7 p.m. at the New Eagle Social Hall.

On Tuesday, August 3, 2010, New Eagle Borough Council took action to cease all further activity in the development and implementation of zoning. A revised draft of the Monongahela SALDO and Zoning Ordinance are available for review below.
