The Redevelopment Authority of the County of Washington is not currently accepting applications for a summer internship program. The Redevelopment Authority of the County of Washington is a multi faceted government agency currently seeking a summer intern to assist their staff in the main office located in Downtown Washington, PA. The job duties and requirements are as follows: JOB DESCRIPTION: The intern will work in the following areas but not limited to: Brownfield inventory, marketing, grant writing, historical research, and labor compliance. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: * Enrolled in a four-year college or university in a related program. * Ability to operate independently with little supervision * Team player with strong written and oral communication skills * Strong project management and organizational skills * Solid analytical and research skills * Ability to successfully handle multiple assignments * Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Word * Must have access to reliable transportation on a daily basis HOURS: Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00 pm. COMPENSATION: $8.50 per hour WORK ATTIRE: Business Professional INTERNSHIP DURATION: June 2, 2008 through August 8, 2008 DEADLINE: Resumes, including references must be received by March 21, 2008.
