The Washington County Commissioners, in consultation with the Legislative Delegation, have extended the deadline for 2010 Local Share Account applications by approximately one month, to December 1, 2009. The deadline is being extended because of proposed new gaming legislation which is under consideration by the Pennsylvania General Assembly, which may include changes that will affect the Local Share Account Program for the upcoming year. The original date had been November 2, 2009. Applications are now due to the Redevelopment Authority of the County of Washington office by 5:00 pm on December 1, 2009. The Redevelopment Authority is located in Suite 603 of the Courthouse Square office building at 100 West Beau Street in Washington.
