FY 2009 Washington County Action Plan

 

The Redevelopment Authority has completed the County of Washington’s FY 2009 Action Plan. The Action Plan is a comprehensive, integrated approach to planning and implementing the County’s housing, community development, and economic development priority activities. The Action Plan also serves as a funding application that is submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for three formula grant programs including the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Home Investment Partnerships (HOME), and Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG). In FY 2009, the County has received $4,310,428 in CDBG funds, $966,210 in HOME funds, and $188,903 in ESG funds. 

 

The 2009 Action Plan was on public display for a 30-day review period for citizens to present comments from March 9, 2009 to April 8, 2009.  The plan was approved by the Board of Commissioners on May 7, 2009 and by HUD on July 1, 2009.
