The Former Salsberry Bump Shop Site in the City of Washington will be remediated soon. The Redevelopment Authority will provide a $50,000 subgrant to the City of Washington’s Community Development Corporation for the remediation project. Public comments will be accepted by the Redevelopment Authority from March 10 through April 10, 2017. An information repository for the project, including Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments and other information, is located at the Redevelopment Authority office and is available for viewing during normal business hours. The Community Relations Plan and the draft Analysis of Brownfield Cleanup Alternatives for the remediation of environmental hazards at the Former Salsberry Bump Shop Site will be available for viewing at the Redevelopment Authority office and can also be downloaded here.
