The Redevelopment Authority is aware of issues that people are having when calling the Redevelopment Authority over the last several days while our phone service is being upgraded. We are working to have this issue resolved as soon as possible.
Tanger Outlet Plans Labor Day Weekend Grand Opening

 As construction continues at the South Strabane Township site, Tanger Factory Outlet Centers Inc. expects to open the seventy-five store center on August 29, 2008.
Fundraising Continues for American Cancer Society

 Tickets can now be purchased for the Summer Gift Card Basket at the Redevelopment Authority office, 603 Courthouse Square. All proceeds benefit the Redevelopment Authority Relay for Life Team which will participate in the relay at Chartiers-Houston High School May 17-18.
Redevelopment Authority to be Represented at Brownfields 2008 Conference

The National Brownfields Conference is the largest, most comprehensive conference focused on cleaning up and redeveloping abandoned, underutilized, and potentially contaminated properties in the nation. RACW staff members Susan Morgan and Kerry Fox are attending this years' event.

Washington County Homebuyer Assistance Program
 The Redevelopment Authority of the County of Washington has established the Homebuyer Assistance Program to assist first-time homebuyers in attaining their goal of home ownership by providing financial assistance for the purchase and rehabilitation of eligible housing units.

The Redevelopment Authority of the County of Washington has secured funding to provide home rehabilitation assistance for eight (8) homes in the Highland Ridge neighborhood as defined as the geographical area within the recorded Redevelopment Plan.

The Redevelopment Authority of the County of Washington has established the Highland Ridge Homebuyer Assistance Program to assist homebuyers in attaining their goal of home ownership by providing financial assistance for the purchase of newly constructed houses in the Highland Ridge Neighborhood within the City of Washington.
